Guess What I Found?

It’s been a while since I last posted, simply because I haven’t watched any dramas in a long time. I’ve been trying to hold off in an effort to get college stuff done. But, instead of watching dramas, I found something else to waste my time on: online stories!

Yes, they’re as badly written as a Tellitubbies script on toilet paper, but some are okay! And they’re like drama replacements without the necessary video. There are two sites that I read online stories on: Quizilla and Writing.com. I’ll give you a list of some of my favorites from each.

You’re Beautiful Necklace

Isn’t it beautiful?! I mentioned in an earlier post a place you guys could go to get drama-related stuffs from ebay. Well, here’s the You’re Beautiful necklace I got! (Well, technically it’s two necklaces you’re supposed to wear at the same time. *fangirl sigh* It came in the most adorable pink box with a ribbon: the seller did a really good job! Though if it had come in it’s original packaging I probably would have freaked out a lot more as I opened it. Regardless, I knew I’d be less excited once I actually had it, and I was right. It’s not that the product didn’t meet my expectations, it definitely did. I think I’ll have to watch the last episode of YB to get myself all fangirl-crazy again. So…what do you guys think?

 

One thing I just noticed, though…see that little funny indent on the filled in metal star on the left in the bottom necklace? I’m not entirely sure it should be there. I didn’t pay it any attention before because it was too deep to be a “got bumped in transit” mark, but now that I think about it, I don’t think it should be there. But overall I’m happy with the product, so I won’t kick up a fuss about it.

Drama merchandise on Ebay!

Usually when one looks for drama merchandise of any kind, the first stop is Yesasia, where prices can make you keel over and die. On a good day.

I realized, however, that you can get drama goods cheaper on ebay if you wait a certain time after the drama has aired. Take, for instance, the seller moru_cn1 (http://myworld.ebay.com/moru_cn1/). (S)he has an entire section dedicated to drama wear stuffs, from Boys over Flowers to Stairway to Heaven, to You’re Beautiful, and other jewelry pieces stars have worn starting at 99 cents! (S)he does ship from China though, so depending on where you are it can take 13-25 days to reach you.

Hi My Sweetheart Update

Episode 3 should be coming out soon, sorry for the delay T.T
Here’s how my recap writing process works:
1. I watch the whole episode (can take a day or so)
2. I write the recap by hand, referring to the video as necessary and marking where I want screen caps (can take a week)
3. I get all the screen caps (usually takes a day)
4. I type the recap, inserting pictures where necessary (a day) and. . .
POST!

I am currently at #3, the only problem is I’ve increased the number of screen caps I’m posting exponentially, so it’s taking a bit longer than expected. Plus, some parts a SO ADORABLE that I’m planning on embedding some videos as well.
