My Girl

LEE DA HAE, LEE DONG WOOK, LEE JOON KI, PARK SI YEON

Oh my gosh. This was probably the most addicting drama to date. One of my friends finished it in two days–it’s 16 episodes long! That being said, there is a downside to that. . .

PLOT: Because it was so addicting, I raced through it and can’t remember much plot-wise. There’s a good reason as to why they can’t be together (her guilt at lying to the grandfather and the promise she makes him) But the fact that her guilt was what leads her to keep her promise is not obvious, especially since she’s a chronic liar. That is probably my ultimate pet-peeve about some dramas: they don’t help you remember why the heck the people can’t be together in the end.

OST: okay, but not extraordinarily memorable. Available for download from iTunes!!

RATING: 7.5

  1. The main guy really grows on you…but I personally think the tennis girl is a better match for him. She’s so pretty and sucessful. Lee Joon Ki is portrayed as a player…but gets his heart broken by the main girl…ironic…LOVE IT!!!
